Venezuela finally to have Bitcoin ATM

Based on figures from Coin ATM Radar, the entire amount of crypto ATMs across the world moved from 501 from 2016 to over 5400 in 2019.

Numerous efforts to set up Bitcoin ATM

Venezuela’s initial crypto ATM has been set up on Sept. 10, at the city of San Antonio del Táchira, based on information from Coin ATM Radar, a site which facilitates the internet look for the closest Bitcoin ATM.

Latin American company Panda BTM installed the Bitcoin ATM within a small convenience shop, known as Viajes e Inversiones HC. The system supports cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), also DASH, in addition to the official currency of Venezuela and Colombian pesos.

Apparently there were previous efforts to put in a Bitcoin ATM in Venezuela. In the end of January, crypto company Cryptobuyer declared the forthcoming testing and installation of a new Bitcoin ATM from the city of Caracas.

Columbia has the biggest number of crypto ATMs

Neighboring Columbia now has the maximum crypto ATMs of almost any nation in Latin America. That amount is set to grow thanks to some partnership involving the worldwide peer-to-peer Bitcoin market, Paxful, and Medellin-based blockchain firm, CoinLogiq, that are bringing 20 brand new crypto ATMs into Colombia.

The world’s earliest Bitcoin ATM started in Vancouver, Canada in late 2013. Since then, the entire amount of cryptocurrency ATMs across the globe has lasted to rise.
